Terms of Service

By pressing "Start" and using the Light Beam Booth, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Light Beam Booth is a free interactive photo experience that:

• Captures your photograph
• Uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to transform your image
• Delivers the transformed image to your email address

Minors: Users under 18 may use the booth with parental or guardian consent. By allowing a minor to use the service, the parent/guardian agrees to these Terms on behalf of the minor and accepts responsibility for their use.

Adults: Users 18 and over may use the service by accepting these Terms.

By using Light Beam Booth and providing your email address, you grant Hydrophilic LTD a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:

• Use your original and AI-transformed images for marketing purposes
• Display your images on our website and social media channels
• Use your images in promotional materials

You retain ownership of your likeness. If you do not wish for your images to be used for marketing purposes, please contact us at simon@lightbeamevents.co.uk before using the booth.

• Retention Period: Images are stored for 7 days after creation
• Automatic Deletion: After 7 days, images are automatically deleted from our systems
• Manual Deletion: You may request earlier deletion by emailing simon@lightbeamevents.co.uk with your session details

• Images are processed using Google Gemini artificial intelligence
• No Guarantees: We make no guarantees regarding the quality, accuracy, or appearance of AI-transformed images
• Results may vary and are subject to the capabilities and limitations of the AI technology
• We are not responsible for unexpected, undesirable, or inaccurate transformations

You agree not to:

• Use the booth in a manner that violates any applicable law
• Attempt to damage, interfere with, or reverse-engineer the booth technology
• Use the booth for abusive, harassing, or inappropriate content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any technical failures, service interruptions, or data loss
• We are not responsible for the quality or content of AI-generated images
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed £100

Insurance: Hydrophilic LTD maintains £5 million public liability insurance for physical incidents at booth locations.

Personal Injury: Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Your personal data (email address and images) is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection laws. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the booth after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
